The Southwest Hungarian Engineering Cluster (SWHEC) was established in March 2011 under the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya. The Cluster brings together key players in the engineering and manufacturing sector across Southern Hungary, supporting collaboration, innovation and the implementation of joint development initiatives. Over the years, it has become the region’s leading engineering cluster.
SWHEC holds the Hungarian Industrial Cluster qualification and has been awarded the internationally recognised ESCA Silver Label for cluster management excellence.
