Know-how and Technologies:
For the production of complex welded steel structures, the company uses state-of-the-art technologies, including: CNC flame cutting, CNC fine plasma cutting, press braking, rolling, industrial welding technologies (gas metal arc welding [GMAW], submerged arc welding, robotic consumable electrode welding, orbital TIG robotic welding), stress-relief heat treatments, mechanical and manual shot blasting, turning (high-precision CNC vertical lathe/carousel), and horizontal milling and drilling operations.

In recent years, Lakics Gépgyártó Kft. has implemented technological and site development investments in several phases, amounting to several hundred million forints, primarily to enhance the production and machining of large welded steel structures. As part of these developments, modern CNC plasma cutting machines, metalworking and cutting equipment, measuring and positioning systems, as well as industrial auxiliary tools were commissioned at the Kaposvár and Komló sites. Production and measurement accuracy has been strengthened by the use of high-precision laser measurement systems (LaserTracker), while energy efficiency is supported by a solar power system. The investments were complemented by smaller-scale digitalization, organizational development, and training elements, supporting the efficient operation of the technological upgrades.
