Our corporate developments:
During its more than 25 years of operation in Pécs, Körber’s Pécs site has spent HUF 30.8 billion on investments, most of which were directly related to production. The company is continuously expanding and modernizing its machine park in four operating units: the cutting and sheet metal working plant, the machine assembly plant, and the equipment manufacturing plant. The new, more modern and efficient machines include CNC machining centers, laser cutting and welding machines, spot welders, spark erosion machines, 3D scanners, painting equipment, and sheet metal processing machines.
In addition, there is a strong focus on Industry 4.0 solutions, one of the tools of which is the spread of digitalisation and the achievement of paperless production. More and more employees are using mobile devices, and touchscreen-controlled equipment is also becoming more widespread. In many cases, Körber develops its own unique software solutions, as the programs available on the market are designed for mass production, while custom machine manufacturing requires unique IT solutions.
