Strauss Metal Ltd. has been manufacturing and distributing its own sheet-metal products since 1992. Since its establishment, the company has been continuously present on the Hungarian market as a leading manufacturer of safes. More than 600 different products are marketed under the Strauss Metal brand. All products are 100% Hungarian-made and developed in-house, manufactured in a high-tech production facility, and fully compliant with European quality standards.
As a specialist in security technology, the product portfolio covers residential, corporate and banking security, cash handling equipment, safes and other value storage solutions. Know-how and Technologies:
In 2014, the company commissioned a Japanese-made MAZAK fiber laser cutting machine and its peripherals, as well as an UpDownBend edge bending machine that ensures the precise formation of curved surfaces. Building on these technological foundations, Strauss Metal represents European-level quality in the field of sheet metal working.
Subsequent developments have seen the introduction of high-performance manual welding equipment and a semi-automated powder coating system. Production is supported by energy-efficient inverter screw compressors and state-of-the-art engineering and production preparation workstations. In the approximately 4,700 m² factory hall, production capacity is ensured by 110 metalworking machines.

Corporate Developments:
Over recent years, investments totalling approximately EUR 3.1 million have been implemented, including the installation of a photovoltaic system, the acquisition of MAZAK and UpDownBend RAS machines, related auxiliary equipment and cranes, workshop development, and the establishment of a training workshop with capacity for up to 20 trainees. These developments were complemented by forklift and crane operator training programmes, as well as IKER I–II training courses.
The most recent major development was implemented with approximately EUR 0.31 million in support, covering the complete renovation and energy modernisation of the production hall, as well as the acquisition of a professional CNC press brake and a high-performance manual welding machine, further strengthening the company’s manufacturing capacity and operational efficiency.
