The Som-Szer Ltd. is engaged in tool manufacturing activities in its 2000 m2 covered industrial hall. They mainly produce plastic injection moulding tools, but they also manufacture die-casting tools, bottle blowing tools, cold forming and cutting tools. Som-Szer Ltd. has an ever-expanding range of machines and technologies for metalworking, including all the metalworking machines and technologies required for tool making.
The company receives orders for the production of approximately 30 to 60 new tools per year from its customers, typically from the international automotive industry. In addition, Som-Szer Ltd. receives orders for the repair of more than 2,000 automotive tools of varying complexity every year. They also undertake mould modification work, which involves quality control of moulded plastic parts according to a set of criteria agreed with the customer. With their installed and mobile laser welding equipment they are able to carry out professional repairs almost regardless of tool size. They also manufacture custom parts, from 2D or 3D documentation, in individual or small series. The company’s management system allows the entire internal process to be monitored and traced from quotation to delivery of the tool or product.
